Hello world....

I had been back and forth, contemplating starting a blog for a couple of reasons. One, I wasn't sure when and where I should start. And two, I'm a HORRIBLE blogger. I don't know the first thing about blogging, or even know what to write and how to articulate myself in a way that would captivate my audience. But I'm putting myself out on a limb, and trying this out for the first time. So here goes.

My interest in wedding planning, and event planning in general began in high school when I planned and coordinated Lowell's first ever Prom Expo Fashion show. That interest grew over the years, and I eventually took on more projects in the event planning world (on a smaller scale of course). By 2006, I had already planned a couple of family weddings and instinctively, I knew in my heart of hearts that this was more then just talent; it was my niche, my inspiration.. my passion.

Why weddings? Why not pursue a career in just event planning? While I love event planning in general, weddings are the heart and soul of your clients. It's not a charitable event or a business conference... it's unique with each individual, it's more intimate, and the best part.. its PERSONAL. With every bride and groom I've helped, it has been an honor and a blessing for me because they allowed me into their personal lives and shared with me their biggest celebration.

So here it is... this is what I can share with the world, with YOU, my audience: a collection of my work, my inspiration, my heart. Enjoy.
